1. The Warren 10.04.11
This course offers a solid and varied test to golfers of all abilities. Hitting fairways is rewarded but straying into the rough or the brutal fairway bunkers is harshly punished.
The fairways are very narrow and several holes have blind greens/pin positions such is the undulating terrain. A relatively short course but the slopes and hills sap the energy off the Tee, meaning it plays longer leaving you plenty of tricky shots that require imagination. If the wind is blowing off the Irish Sea your card could take a beating.
Good value too, £6.40 for 9 holes and £12.80 for 18. Worth a visit to help sharpen up your game.
